Across Hull, voters have today been voting to elect one third of Hull City Council’s councillors. Nineteen of the Guildhall’s 57 seats are up for grabs.
Polls close at 10pm at which point work begins on counting the votes. We’ll be here at the Guildhall to provide the results and reaction throughout the night.
This is the council’s first election in two years. Whilst no council elections took place last year, many in the city voted in the region’s inaugural Mayoral election.
Elections are not taking place this year in the East Riding. An all-out election will, however, take place in 2027.
