Hull FC produced an attacking shocker against Toulouse.

Hull FC produced their worst performance of the season on Sunday afternoon, losing 12-4 to Toulouse Olympique at the MKM Stadium. Here are the ratings:

Logan Moy – Tried his best at the back and ran with plenty of intent. One of Hull’s bigger threats. 5

Tom Briscoe – Scored Hull’s one and only try of the game with a decent finish in the corner. 5

Harry Newman – Tried hard and looked to break Toulouse down. Given little space to work in but that didn’t excuse one or two questionable kicking options. 4

Davy Litten – One of Hull’s better players. Carried hard and heavily involved. 5

Lewis Martin – Safe under the high ball and ran well. 5

Jake Arthur – A running threat and took the line on, but Hull played far too laterally and that meant their spine had no shape to play with. 4

Aidan Sezer – As above. Kept going, but the lateral attack was easy for Toulouse to defend against. 4

Brad Fash – A poor miss on Joe Cator. Wasn’t the only one at fault for it, mind. 4

Amir Bourouh – Left the field inside the first 20 minutes for a HIA. Returned. Struggling to get Hull going and was involved with a few coming togethers with Toulouse forward Rob Butler. 4

Harvie Hill – The big prop tried hard and ran with vigour near the line but to no avail. 4

Connor Bailey – Left the field early on with a suspected broken collar bone. N/A

Zak Hardaker – In the back row again and saw plenty of ball. Tried his best to get Hull going. 5

James Bell – Really effective last week, biting into the line, but Hull failed to create that doubt this week and were far too lateral. Bell’s game suffered as a result. 4

Cade Cust – Came on early after Bourouh’s HIA. Returned in the second half. Like the majority of Hull’s spine, it was clunky. 4

Jeremiah Mata’utia – A few big surges from the big prop. Did okay. 5
