Death Notices

(Pam) Pam sadly passed away at home on Sunday 22nd March 2026 aged 74 years. Loving Wife to late Husband Jim. Cherished Sister, Aunty and Great Aunty. Dearest Cousin. RIP Pam, loved but never forgotten XXX Service shall be held at the Chanterlands Crematorium on Friday 17th April at 11am. Family flowers only please but if so desired, donations may be left at the service in Pam’s memory for Asthma Society.

(Pam) Sadly passed away on 15th March aged 81 years with her family by her side. Loving wife of the late Kenneth Dunkerley (now reunited). Dearly loved mother to Keith and in-law to Janice. Much loved grandmother to James and Emily (Nans), devoted great-grandmother to her darling George (Nana Pam). A dear friend to all that knew her. Funeral service to be held Friday 1st May 12 noon at Chanterlands Avenue Crematorium, small Chapel followed by interment. Family flowers only please but donations to RSPCA and Cancer Research may be left at the service.

Passed Suddenly on the 22nd March 2026, on Holiday enjoying the sun watching his beloved FC. Reunited with his Wife Wendy. A Much Loved & Loving Dad, Grandad & Great-Grandad. Cortege to leave family residence on Thursday 16th April 1:00pm for Service at Chanterlands Crematorium 1:30pm (Large Chapel). Resting Mike East & Family Funeral Directors, 239 Southcoates Lane. Chapel hours Mon – Fri 10am to 4.30pm. No Flowers by Family Request, But donations if Desired to the families Chosen Charities, Collection plate at service.

(Nee Carmichael) Passed away peacefully on Sunday 29th March 2026 aged 82. Reunited with loving husband Gordon. Dear mum to Susan and step mum to Julie and Paul. A loving grandma and great grandma. A Service to celebrate Sally’s life, will be held at Chanterlands Avenue Crematorium, (Small Chapel) on Wednesday 29th April at 2.00pm. Donations if desired may be left following the service for Dove House Hospice

(Baz) On 30th March 2026 very peacefully at home surrounded by his loving children aged 78 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Suzy Q, much loved dad of Nicky, Emms and Andrew, in-laws and a devoted grandad. He will be very sadly missed by all his family and friends. A service to celebrate Barry’s life will be held at 2.30pm on Friday 24th April at the Haltemprice Crematorium, Willerby. (Ron) Peacefully on the 4th April 2026 aged 102 years. Reunited with his loving Wife Vera. A Devoted Father, Grandad and Great Grandad. A Gentleman and a Gentle Man who will be sadly missed and loved by all. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday 21st April at the Chanterlands Crematorium 12.00 (Small Chapel). Passed away peacefully in Hull Royal Infirmary on 28th March 2026. Aged 83 years. Beloved husband of Penelope. Much loved father of Russell, Howard and Edward. Also a dear grandad to Sophie, James and George. Funeral service at The Haltemprice Crematorium, Willerby on Friday 24th April at 1.30pm. Family flowers only, donations for The Salvation Army and The Queens Centre may be given at the service.

Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by love, on 29th March 2026, aged 69 years. Beloved wife of John, much loved mum to Christopher, Caroline and Rebecca, and in-law to Arielle and Mark. A proud grandmother to Caden and Cooper, and a treasured Godmother of Kelly and Morgan. Jenny was a dear friend to many and will be deeply missed and forever loved. May she now be reunited with her dearly missed lifelong friend Yvonne. Family flowers only please, but any donations, if desired, in Jenny’s name to Macmillan Cancer Support. Funeral service to take place at Haltemprice Crematorium, Willerby, on 28th April 2026 at 2:30pm. Family and friends are welcome to join us afterward at The Blue Bell, Cottingham, to raise a glass and share fond memories.

(Retired Deputy Head Teacher) Passed away peacefully at Primrose House, Brough, on 28th March 2026, aged 85. A loving mum to Christopher and Michael, step-mum to Kevin and Sharon, and mum-in-law to the late Julie, Heidi, Michelle and Richard. A much-loved grandma and nanna to Hazel, Ryan, James, Olivia, William, Victoria, Carlton, Claire and Deborah and a treasured great-grandma and great-nanna to Summer, Piper, Prudence, Rupert, Otto, Amelia and Logan. Dear sister to Jo, the late Ray and John, sister-in-law, aunt, and a special friend to many. Forever in our hearts. Funeral service to be held at Haltemprice Crematorium on Friday 17th April 2026 at 2.30pm. All are welcome.
