Good afternoon and welcome along to today’s live press conference as Hull FC boss John Cartwright sits down in front of the press for the first time since his departure was announced.
The Black and Whites released a statement last Tuesday confirming that Cartwright will leave the club at the end of the 2026 Super League season. It’s a decision that has certainly divided Black and Whites fans, particularly at this stage of the campaign with so much rugby still to play.
Steve McNamara is the man expected to replace him, with the Warrington Wolves assistant seemingly on his way back to the club where his playing career started.
However, until something changes it’s business as usual at the MKM Stadium and Cartwright will hold his pre-match press conference this afternoon ahead of Thursday night’s game against St Helens.
