Here are the current and upcoming roadworks taking place across the Hull area

  1. A63 improvement scheme: A new series of overnight closures have been announced on the A63 Castle Street in Hull as part of a “phased completion” of the £355m upgrade scheme. You can read the full story here.
  2. Anlaby Road: Main renewal works by Northern Power Grid at the side of the Heritage Centre. A lane closure is in place until April 17.
  3. Greenwood Avenue: Road closure for utility works by Yorkshire Water outside number 306. Scheduled for April 6.
  4. Inglemire Lane: Multi-way signals will be in place at the junction of Aukland Avenue for Northern Power Grid utility works from April 7 to April 20.
  5. National Avenue: Full road closure between County Road North and Bricknell Avenue for council improvement works. Scheduled from March 30 to April 24.
  6. Wawne Road: Council improvement scheme between Bude Road and Kesteven Way roundabout. A road closure remains in place until April 24.
  7. Princes Dock Street: Ongoing road closure as part of the Hull Public Realm development scheme, expected to conclude on April 30.
  8. Woodcock Street: Utility works by Northern Gas Networks at the junction of Georges Road. A road closure is in place until April 5.
