City have eight players away on international duty over the next few days
Hull City have a host of players away on international duty over the next 10 days or so, and boss Sergej Jakirovic will be hoping they all return unscathed, ready for a busy Easter weekend.
Some are just playing friendlies in preparation for this summer’s World Cup, while others have huge play-off games that could secure their place at this summer’s competition in Canada, Mexico and the USA.
City defender Semi Ajayi is away at a training camp in Antalya and will then face games against Iran and Jordan in the Turkish resort, having been moved from the Amman International Stadium in Jordan. Iran’s place in the World Cup this summer remains unclear, given the ongoing conflict with the USA and Israel, but as it stands, they will take on Nigeria in Turkey later this week.
Ivor Pandur is with Croatia and has two friendlies over the course of the next few days in Orlando, Florida, as his country prepares for their World Cup opener against England in Texas on June 17.
