The 19 year olds have both been charged with assault and attempted robbery
Two men have been charged after a “suspected BB gun” was pulled out during an incident at a Hull pub last week. Police say two men entered the venue in Marfleet Lane last Thursday (March 5) and “became involved in a verbal altercation with staff” at around 7pm.
One of them is then alleged to have pulled out a suspected BB gun. They are then said to have left the pub “causing damage to a glass door as they exited”. A Humberside Police spokesperson added: “A member of the public is reported to have challenged the men about the damage, which resulted in a further altercation before the pair reportedly made off from the scene.
“Officers were immediately deployed to the scene and two men were arrested nearby.”
Two 19-year-old men have now been charged in connection with the incident. Finlay Robert Ross Node, of Grangebrook Drive, Winsford, Cheshire, has been charged with assault and attempt robbery. Ben Phillip Pattison, of Freehold Street, Hull, has been charged with assault, attempt robbery and using threatening behaviour.
Both men were remanded into custody and are due to appear at Hull Magistrates’ Court.
