Corgi & Cream has opened in the RaisE Business Centre in Goole
A new cafe is dishing up Yorkshire delicacies after launching its second site in an East Riding business centre. The RaisE Business Centre in Goole, owned and operated by East Riding of Yorkshire Council, is home to a range of firms with its modern conference and meeting rooms, offices and workshops.
And now it has welcomed a new local business – Corgi & Cream which has opened up the centre’s on-site café. Run by young local entrepreneurs Zack Feve and Billie Wilson, Corgi & Cream – which takes its name from beloved pet corgi Olive – already draws in customers at its original base in Riverside Gardens.
The small bakery, based in a converted bowls building, has a regular following of customers thanks to its mouth-watering breakfast rolls, pies, sandwiches and sweet treats, including cookie pies and pistachio kunafa brownies . It also sells a range of freshly-baked breads, cheese straws, pasties, focaccias, rolls, baps and teacakes, making it a popular pit stop for those walking in the gardens as well as dog walkers.
Now Corgi & Cream has opened, to serve freshly prepared food for businesses, visitors and the wider Goole community, in the RaisE Business Centre in Goole, welcoming customers Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 3pm. The cafe’s menu is packed with sandwiches in freshly-baked bread, wraps, pastries and pies. It also provides soup and slow-cooked meats and well as Yorkshire pudding wraps and jacket potatoes and salads made using local produce.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has been providing business accommodation since 1998, at facilities across the East Riding, including in Goole. The centres offer office and workshop space for start-ups, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), on flexible lease terms.
The centres allow businesses to adapt to changing needs, including downsizing or expanding without penalties. They can also use other centres within the portfolio or relocate by giving one month’s notice.
Councillor Anne Handley, East Riding of Yorkshire Council leader said: “It’s great to see a new local business come to the RaisE Business Centre. We are proud to support a business-friendly environment in our region and to support communities to thrive.”
Amanda Hoggart, business centre manager, RaisE Business Centre, said: “We’re really pleased to welcome Corgi & Cream to RaisE Business Centre. This is a fantastic addition for our tenants and visitors, and it also creates a new food destination for the wider community. Their focus on quality, value and local Yorkshire produce makes them a perfect fit for RaisE. We encourage businesses, visitors and local residents to stop by and give Corgi & Cream a warm welcome.”
