Key Public Notices across Hull and East Yorkshire

  1. East Riding Council has given notice of an order prohibiting vehicles from travelling along Northgate, Cottingham (20 metres either side of the level crossing). The order will last from 11:45 PM on March 14 until 08:30 AM on March 15. The road will be closed to all traffic but access will be maintained for emergency vehicles. Read more.
  2. A notice states that East Riding Council is proposing to dispose of land forming part of Hessle Recreation Ground on Livingstone Road by way of a lease for use of the property for sports and recreation. Any objections or representation about the proposed sale must be made in writing to the Valuation and Estates Manager, County Hall, Beverley (Ref: SB/2916), to be received no later than 4pm, 11 March 2026.   3. Hull City Council has made an order to install new waiting restrictions on Burma Drive. The order came into force on February 3. The single yellow line restrictions will be active during business hours but allow parking outside of these times with the accesses still being restricted to no waiting at any time. Read more.
  4. Noble Corp Ltd has applied to East Riding Council, seeking a Bingo Premises Licence for The Forum in Bridlington. Any representations must be made by March 2. Read more.
  5. Due to an East Riding Council order, between February 23 and 24 vehicles will not be able to proceed down Collynson Close, Willerby. The road will be closed to all through traffic but remain open at all times to pedestrians and for vehicular access to properties directly affected by the closure and for emergency services.
