We’ve delved into the Hull Daily Mail archives to unearth some photos from the 1970s and they’re in crystal clear full colour. We’re looking at snapshots of housing areas around the city – many of which were relatively new at the time.
The gallery below features images from Orchard Park, Sutton Park and more. Of course, much has changed since they were taken with those well-known tower blocks no longer around while some smaller houses have also since been bulldozed.
