There have been some truly shocking cases during the past year of vicious attacks on women by their angry and aggressive boyfriends – with horrifying levels of violence often shown. The terrified victims were often left traumatised by their shocking ordeals – many of which were sparked by trivial arguments or jealousy.
The worst of the cases during the year resulted in prison sentences being imposed on the bullies involved. These are some of the disturbing and serious cases of domestic violence that have been heard at Hull Crown Court, and sometimes Grimsby Crown Court, during 2025.
