The 36-year-old sadly died at the scene

A man has tragically died after being hit by an HGV on Beverley Road. Emergency services were at the scene for several hours following the incident this morning.

A Humberside Police spokesperson said: “Officers are appealing for information after a HGV was reportedly involved in a collision with a pedestrian on Beverley Road, Hull near to the junction with Sculcoates Lane at around 9am this morning (Saturday, 6 December).

“Emergency services attended however a 36-year-old man was discovered to have died at the scene. If anyone witnessed the collision or has CCTV or dashcam footage from around the time the collision occurred, please call our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 100 of 6 December.”
