Hill will be in representative action on Sunday.

New Hull FC signing Harvie Hill will play representative rugby league for Cumbria on Sunday, 2 November. The prop forward is part of a 19-man regional squad that will take on the Nigeria international side at the home of Barrow Raiders.

One of eight new recruits at the Black and Whites ahead of 2026, the 22-year-old joins the East Yorkshire club from Wigan Warriors. He has signed a four-year contract.

Meanwhile, Cumbria are coached by Barrow boss Paul Crarey, with Hill looking to test himself in a new state. On training with the county side this week, he said: “It was really good to meet the boys; some of the boys I’d never met before, so it’s been really good. Obviously, it’s been a different set of lads, but everyone has had a dig.

“I think it helps that Cresta is such a good coach. He has been out there and really drilled some of the stuff into us, so that’s good. We’ll be ready to go.”

Hill, who has been tipped for future England honours, made 48 appearances for Wigan after breaking through their junior system. He played in the 2024 World Club Challenge match against Penrith Panthers, but this will be his first taste of representative action.
