Super League’s Grand Final viewing figures have been confirmed – and it’s good news.

The 2025 Super League Grand Final between Hull KR and Wigan Warriors attracted average viewing figures of 455,000 on Saturday evening.

Hull KR became the first new club in 21 years to be crowned Super League champions – and only fifth in history, joining Wigan, St Helens, Leeds Rhinos and Bradford Bulls.

The Theatre of Dreams showdown peaked with an audience of 530,000, with figures 22% up on the 2024 Grand Final between the same two opponents – which was 40% up on 2023 when Wigan defeated Catalans Dragons.

It also attracted the largest Grand Final attendance since 2017, with a confirmed crowd of 68,853 in Manchester.

Meanwhile, Mikey Lewis was crowned the Rob Burrow Player of the Match Award winner for his influential performance in Hull KR’s 24-6 victory, dethroning Matt Peet’s Wigan who were aiming to make it a three-peat at Old Trafford.

The Hull KR half-back and former Man of Steel received more than 50% of the votes with 25 out of 48, while his team dominated overall.

Delivering a powerful performance on his career swansong, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves scored seven votes, as did hooker and try-scorer Jez Litten.

Back-rower James Batchelor was next on the list with three votes, full-back Arthur Mourgue received two votes, as did Peta Hiku, while Joe Burgess – who scored twice to end his personal Grand Final hoodoo with a win on the fifth attempt – and captain Elliot Mincehlla also received a vote each.
