John Cartwright has made just one change to his 21-man squad ahead of Thursday’s Super League clash against Wakefield Trinity. The Black and Whites host the West Yorkshire outfit at the MKM Stadium, with Daryl Powell’s side leapfrogging them in the table after last week’s victory over Catalans.

However, Hull can return the favour with a first home win of the season, with Cartwright set to name a similar, if not unchanged, matchday side to the one who lost to St Helens last time out. The only change to the squad sees young hooker Will Hutchinson come in, with Will Gardiner dropping out of the squad. The prop featured for Doncaster on dual reg last weekend.

Elsewhere, Brad Fash and Jordan Rapana are good to go. Rapana passed a head injury assessment on Saturday, while Fash has avoided any injury after a minor scare. Jed Cartwright is also set to continue his comeback from a long-term hamstring injury. The back rower lined up last week for the first time in four months, coming off the bench against the Saints.

The likes of Aidan Sezer will skipper the side again, with half-backs Cade Cust and Jack Charles both named. Zak Hardaker is poised to play full-back again after impressing in the role last week.

On the injury front, Hull remain without Will Pryce (hamstring), Ligi Sao (knee), Jordan Lane (arm), John Asiata (hamstring), Liam Watts (knee), and Roman Dawson (ACL).
