The Robins take on Huddersfield Giants on Friday night at Craven Park

Willie Peters has made eight changes to his Hull KR squad to take on Huddersfield Giants on Friday evening.

The Robins know that only a win will do this week in the penultimate week of the regular season if they are to nail down their spot in the play-offs.

However, the head coach has been able to name a squad that can be considered to be close to his best in comparison to the one named to take on Wigan Warriors last week.

Mikey Lewis, James Batchelor and Tevita Pangai Jr won’t be involved against the Giants, but Peters has been able to bring the rest of his star names back into the fold.

Tom Davies, Peta Hiku and Joe Burgess return to strengthen the outside backs line up, while Tyrone May has been named as he continues to overcome the knee injury he had been struggling with last month.

Jez Litten is back involved alongside skipper Elliot Minchella, while Dean Hadley and Jai Whitbread have also overcome injury concerns.

That means Flynn Holden, Ryan Westerman, Alfie Woods, Cobie Wainhouse, Harvey Horne, Jack Charles and Lee Kershaw drop out of the fold for the Robins with some of those being given the chance to impress last week at the Brick Community Stadium

Hull KR 21-man squad to face Huddersfield Giants: Arthur Mourgue, Tom Davies, Peta Hiku, Oliver Gildart, Joe Burgess, Tyrone May, Sauaso Sue, Jez Litten, Tom Amone, Dean Hadley, Elliot Minchella, Jack Broadbent, Sam Luckley, Jai Whitbread, Rhyse Martin, Karl Lawton, Noah Booth, Bill Leyland, Louix Gorman, Zach Fishwick, Frankie Dearlove.
