Charlton said the event, which started in 2015, was taken over by a new committee last year.
“We took it over last year and we have just built on its success.
“Last year, we counted just short of 2,000 bikes.”
She added: “We’ve got a beautiful park with a natural amphitheatre for the live music, but to try and get that many bikes into the park in one day is a challenge in itself.
Charlton said she had lived in Hornsea her whole life, adding it was an honour to represent the town by putting on such a “fantastic event”.
Asked what people loved about motorcycles, she said: “I think it’s just something a little bit different.
“When they’re all polished up with the chrome is all shining.
“It’s the sound, it’s the smell.
“There aren’t that many bike shows around, and they are spectacular.”
