Liu is set to make the move to Hull FC at the end of the Super League season

Adrian Lam refused to be drawn on Isaac Liu’s future following Leigh Leopards win over Leeds Rhinos on Thursday night.
As first reported by Love Rugby League, the understanding is that Liu has agreed a 12-month deal to make the switch to Hull FC next season.
It’s a move that comes after extensive talks with Leigh regarding a new deal, with Liu now set to strengthen a Hull pack that will hope to lay the platform for Daly Cherry-Evans to play on the back of next season.
Liu has spent the last two seasons with Leigh with the former Sydney Roosters and Gold Coast Titans man making 57 appearances for the club.
However, the 35-year-old’s time at Leigh Sports Village is expected to come to an end at the end of the season as he prepares to make the move to East Yorkshire.
Lam took the opportunity to praise the forward but he couldn’t say too much regarding the forward’s future.
“The only thing I want to say on that is as a club I’m not allowed to comment on that. We don’t comment on that,” Lam said after seeing his side edge out Leeds 20-16 at Headingley.
“All I know is he’s been amazing for us. I love the guy incredibly. He’s such a great leader and I’m looking forward to the next four weeks with him to see him take us into the finals and see what’s next for us.”
Liu won’t be the only Leigh player making the move to Hull for 2027 with Bailey Hodgson set to join the Black and Whites too. The full-back is from the city and he’ll be representing his hometown club next year.
