John Cartwright has named his Hull FC to take on St Helens this Saturday afternoon, with Jed Cartwright in line for his first appearance since March. The Aussie back rower is named on the bench after recovering from a hamstring injury, with the head coach opting for some new combinations across his side.
At full-back, Zak Hardaker starts in the role for the first time in Hull colours. The 33-year-old has played in the back row for the last ten games but now comes into the spine positions. The wings remain unchanged, with Harvey Barron and Lewis Martin getting the nod, with Jordan Rapana moved into the centre and Davy Litten continuing his run in the side. At half-back, Cade Cust is paired with Aidan Sezer.
Up front, Herman Ese’ese starts alongside Liam Knight at prop, with Amir Bourouh at hooker. In the back row, Hull have opted to start Jack Ashworth, with Ed Chamberlain also keeping his spot. Yusuf Aydin starts at loose-forward.
Cartwright is joined on the bench by Brad Fash, Sam Eseh, and Tom Briscoe. Jack Charles is the 18th Man.
