He was a loving father, a proud grandfather and great grandfather, whose greatest happiness came from spending time with those he loved. To everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him, Allan was a true gentleman and, above all, a good man. He was known for his kindness, generosity and wonderful sense of humour, always bringing a smile to those around him. His own infectious smile could light up any room, and his warmth and gentle nature made everyone feel welcome. He lived his life with quiet dignity, earning the respect and affection of all who crossed his path. A lifelong and passionate Liverpool FC supporter, Allan stood by his beloved Reds through every high and low. The words of You’ll Never Walk Alone were more than just an anthem, they reflected the love, loyalty and togetherness that Allan lived by throughout his life. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will remain in the hearts of his family and friends, and he will never walk alone. Allan will be forever loved and remembered by his devoted wife, Liz, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His legacy of love, kindness, laughter and humour will continue to live on through the family he adored and in the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
