Hull FC take on Hull KR at the MKM Stadium this Thursday night.
Hull FC and Hull KR meet for the 252nd time this Thursday night, with the two old rivals clashing once again at the MKM Stadium.
Looking to keep hold of their local superiority, the Robins have won their last eight derby games going back to July 2023, with Hull without a win in this fixture in over three years.
Both sides come into the clash in indifferent form, with Rovers losing their last two games and Hull their last six. For the visitors it is a must-win game in terms of their chances of reaching the play-offs, while for the hosts it’s all about getting some pride back and finally ending the losing run against their neighbours.

Whenever you play a derby it’s always tough and physical,” Peters said. “They’re not the best spectacle in terms of being free-flowing but they’re special to be a part of and personally this is going to be my last derby which I’ve absolutely loved being a part of them and it’s something I’ll miss. I think it’s probably the perfect time for us to get this game because it will bring out the best in us, I believe. It means so much to so many different people and we’ve got an opportunity to put some smiles on people’s faces who love this club dearly.

It’s a big game and the players are fully aware of the importance of this game, what it means to the club, and what it means to the fans. Motivation-wise, we know exactly what’s at stake.
