Hull City landed in Slovenia on Monday afternoon, ready for a gruelling two-week stay away from home as the Tigers prepare for the challenge of Premier League football.
City’s squad will play two games in Maribor during their nine-day stay at the Play Green football centre, before heading off for a long weekend in Istanbul, where they’ll take on Kasimpasa.
The travelling party was swelled by a flurry of academy players keen to impress Sergej Jakirovic, while it’s hoped the flight back from Istanbul on August 2 will be populated with a rash of new signings.
