Death Notices

On 15th May 2026 peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, aged 76 years. Loving husband of Julie, a dear dad of James and the late Richard, in-law Amy, daughter-in-law Tina and partner Adam. Dearest Pip of Isabelle and Thomas. He will be very sadly missed by all his family and friends. A service to celebrate Philip’s life will be held at 12.30pm on Friday 12th June at the Haltemprice Crematorium, Willerby. Passed away on the 11th May 2026 aged 62 years. Reunited with loving Husband Mike Kelly. Much loved Mum of Kirsty and Jamie. Also a devoted Nanna. Sadly missed by all her family and friends. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our much loved Dad, Grandad, Brother and Friend, David Baugh, aged 89. David passed away peacefully on 10th May 2026 at The Manor House Care Home, Little Weighton, Beverley, surrounded by the love of his grandchildren. A deeply devoted family man and husband, David brought a zest for life and quiet strength to all who knew him. He will be forever loved and greatly missed by his son Gary and wife Alison; grandchildren Faye, Josie and Ben; his sister Brenda; and by all his wider family and friends whose lives he touched over the years. The family take comfort in knowing he is now at peace, and his memory will live on in the stories, laughter and love he shared with those closest to him. A celebration of David’s life will be held at Haltemprice Crematorium, Main Street, Willerby, Hull, HU10 6NS on 28th May 2026 at 3:30pm. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and celebrate a life well lived. Family flowers only please. Passed away peacefully aged 62, surrounded by family, after a battle with prostate cancer. Much loved Dad of James and Ryan, cherished Father in Law to Anita and Abbi, and proud Grandad to Amelia, Florence and Verity. A true family man who was loved by all who knew him and who will be sadly missed by family and friends alike. Died aged 62 on Wednesday 6 May 2026, after a short illness. Simon was a much loved Husband, Son, Dad, Grandad and Brother, a dear Uncle, a Special Friend and a valued work colleague. He is greatly missed by everyone. The funeral service is to be held on Tuesday 2nd June at Haltemprice Crematorium, Willerby at 1:30pm. Passed away at home on Sunday 10th May, 2026. Devoted husband of Val, loving and caring dad, grandad and great grandad to Andrew, Julie, Dave, Laura, Meg, Abby, Elijah and Felix. (Nee Scarah) Passed away on 29th April 2026. Aged 98 years. Beloved Wife of the late Bernard. Dearest Mum of Jennifer and Kathleen Granny to Phillip, Kay and Great Granddaughter Enya. A service will be held at the Sutton Methodist Church on Thursday 18th June at 10.45am, prior to private cremation. Passed away peacefully on 12th May 2026 aged 72 years. Devoted Husband of Diane, a much loved Dad to Mark and Darren, In-laws Nick and Tara. Loving Grandad of Maddie and Grace.
