City are just one game away from a return to the Premier League after 10 years
Hull City have confirmed that more than 30,000 tickets have been sold for Saturday’s Championship play-off final at Wembley Stadium with more being made available.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding whether or not the fixture will take place because of the ongoing disciplinary proceedings involving opponents Southampton, the Tigers are close to selling out their allocation under the famous arch.
Over 19,000 tickets had been sold by Friday night following a manic 24 hours of sales, and more than 10,000 were snapped up over a busy weekend. The EFL have given City a further 2,000 tickets.

City were allocated 35,984 tickets for the east end of Wembley, the same side of the stadium that the Tigers had in 2008 and 2016 when they were successful in the play-off final against Bristol City and Sheffield Wednesday respectively. With the additional 2,000, almost 38,000 City fans will be in attendance.
It’s expected that the remaining tickets will be gone within the next few hours after they were made available to non-members and to fans with a purchase history predating May 1, 2026, on Monday.
The Tigers are also preparing to announce their plans for the day, which will include information on pubs allocated to the club’s supporters and respective fan parks. One fan park already assured for the Tigers is the one outside the turnstiles within the stadium boundary.
Speaking to Hull Live over the weekend, City owner Acun Ilicali revealed how he hoped to welcome as many fans as possible to the pre-match events on what will be an historic day for the East Yorkshire club.
“We want to have a big show, so I think it will be a beautiful day,” he said. “Near the stadium, we are planning a big organisation that will show everybody how big a family we are, so I’m inviting all of our fans before the game near the stadium area, and I will be there too.”
Meanwhile, the club have announced their latest fans’ holiday to Turkey thanks to Ilicali. Eighty City members will be flown from Humberside Airport to Antalya courtesy of sponsor Corendon Airlines. Those lucky supporters will be able to take a plus one and will be staying in the resort between June 2 and 9, 2026. Full details can be found on the dedicated information page.
