Latest Public Notices across Hull and East Yorkshire
- A notice has been published by East Riding Council, explaining its intention to prevent any vehicle from driving on Willerby Square Roundabout, Willerby (inside lane and full closure from central reservation on Kingston Road to roundabout) to enable gas main reinforcement works. The works, and traffic enforcements, are set to be ongoing between Monday, May 18 and Monday, June 15 with the restrictions being in place between 8am and 5pm. An alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via Kingston Road, Willerby Square Roundabout and Gorton Road Roundabout, Willerby. Read more.
- East Riding Council has also made an order which will prevent any vehicle from driving along Glenwood Drive, Anlaby Common. The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed excavation to replace a damaged telecoms pole. The road will be closed to all through traffic but will remain open at all times to pedestrians and for access to properties directly affected by the closure, and for emergency services. The road will be closed from 8am to 6pm starting from Tuesday, May 12. The works will last no longer than 18 months. Read more.
- A new Character Appraisal and Management Plan has been adopted for the Princes Avenue Conservation Area in Hull. The new plan came into being on April 21. A copy of the new plan is available to view and download on Hull City Council’s website. Read more.
- Grzegorz Wosiak trading as Wosiak Logistics Ltd is applying for a Goods Vehicle Operator’s Licence to use Unit 4 Reservoir Road, Hull as an operating centre for 4 goods vehicles and 4 trailers. Landowners and occupiers near the proposed operating centres who believe that their use or enjoyment of that land would be affected, can make written representations to the Traffic Commissioner at Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds, LS2 7UE stating their reasons, within 21 days of the notice. - East Riding Council has issued a notice for the closure of part of Church Lane, Sewerby. Between 8am on May 26 and 5pm on June 8, vehicles will not be able to pass on the section of the road between number 13 and the junction with Main Street. The work is to allow for gas works. Read more.
