Latest Public Notices across Hull and East Yorkshire

  1. An application has been submitted to Hull City Council to extend the opening hours of Federation of Sport in King William House. The sports venue is seeking permission to alter its opening times to remain open to 4am. The current closing time is 11pm. The venue has told Hull Live the extended hours application is in preparation for this summer’s World Cup where many games will be kicking off in the early hours of the morning. Read more.
  2. From April 20, a Hull City Council traffic regulation order has come into force on Bond Street, in the city centre. The order amended the existing restrictions in the layby on Bond Street to provide an area for emergency vehicles to access and wait whilst also providing a place for users of the new NHS Community Diagnostic Centre to pick up and/or drop off.   3. Authentic African Food Store Ltd has applied to Hull City Council for a premises licence to sell tobacco, alcohol, groceries, food item, confectionery, sweets and other household items at 164-168 Hessle Road. The opening times would be 8:30am to 8:30pm, seven days a week. Read more.
  4. East Riding Council will prevent vehicles from proceeding along Bernadette Avenue, Anlaby Common, between 8am and 6pm on Tuesday, May 12. Work will be done to excavate and replace a damaged telecom pole. The road closure is necessary to ensure the safety of the public during the work. Read more.
