Latest Hull and East Riding planning decisions and applications
- Plans have been approved by East Riding Council for a free-range egg-laying unit. The facility, which will be able to house 32,000 hens, will be at Togdale Farm, Langtoft. Plans explain the farms seeks to diversify in order to remain economically viable.
- Hull City Council has granted Listed Building Consent after receiving plans for alterations to the Old Dock Offices on High Street. The early 19th century building, which is located near the North End Shipyard, will soon have a new front door and a flagpole installed on the front elevation.
- East Riding Council has approved plans for the alterations at the Morrisons Daily on Boothferry Road, Hessle. The forecourt canopy will be replaced with another which will be further from the ground. Plans explain that guidance states a minimum of 4750mm is required for fuel tankers delivering fuel to forecourt. The underside of the existing canopy is 4200mm above the forecourt, submitted documents say.
- Hull City Council has received amended plans for a hotel in Hull city centre. Plans for a seven-storey, 122-bed hotel have been submitted by local property developer Wykeland. If approved, the hotel would be operated under the Moxy brand, part of the Marriott group.
