- Scarlet Lounge Limited has applied to Hull City Council for the renewal of a sexual entertainment venue licence for Purple Door at 25-27 Dock Street. Any objections to the renewal must be submitted in writing to the council’s licensing section within 28 days of the application date on April 9. Read more.
- East Riding Council has issued a temporary order to close a section of Haslemere Avenue in Bridlington from May 5, to allow for repair works. The closure will affect the section from the Tennyson Avenue junction southbound to property number 12. Access for residents, pedestrians, and emergency vehicles will be maintained. An alternative route has been established via Tennyson Avenue, Holyrood Avenue, Travis Street, and the remaining part of Haslemere Avenue. Read more.
- Natural Stone Surfaces LTD has applied for a goods vehicle operator’s licence to establish an operating centre at Throstle Nest, Cranswick, Driffield. The application seeks permission for three goods vehicles and one trailer at the site. Local owners or occupiers who believe this may affect their use of nearby land have 21 days from the notice date to submit written representations to the Traffic Commissioner. Read more.
