The Robins beat York Knights to book their spot in the final four of the competititon

Hull KR have found out their Challenge Cup semi-final fate after this afternoon’s draw.

The draw was made at half-time during Sunday’s clash between Wakefield Trinity and Wigan Warriors with the winner of the contest being drawn to face St Helens.

That means the Robins will take on Warrington Wolves in a repeat of last year’s Wembley final, with all ties set to be played over the weekend of May 9 and 10.

It’s a tasty tie and one that guarantees to intrigue, especially given the way Sam Burgess’ side have started the season. The game will be played at a neutral venue, with an announcement to be made there in due course.

KR made short work of York Knights on Saturday afternoon, winning 48-10 at Craven Park with Tyrone May scoring a hat-trick.

Sauaso Sue, Jack Broadbent, Jai Whitbread, Mikey Lewis and Joe Burgess also touched down as the holders progressed to within 80 minutes of Wembley once more.

And, Warrington will have their eyes on another Wembley appearance after beating Leigh Leopards 24-10 at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Saturday night.

St Helens were the first side to book their place in the final four as they beat Catalans Dragons comfortably 36-4 on Friday night at the BrewDog Stadium.

George Whitby scored twice for the Saints on the night, with efforts coming from Lewis Murphy, Tristan Sailor, Owen Dagnall and Jake Davies.
