The Hull FC ratings.

Hull FC ended a run of four successive defeats with a 24-16 victory over Leeds Rhinos. Here are the ratings:

Zak Hardaker – Solid and dependable at the back. Getting into his groove again after an early-season ankle injury. 7

Tom Briscoe – Again, solid and carried hard in the backfield. Found himself under some towering Connor kicks but stood up well. 7

Davy Litten – Scored Hull’s third try, chasing Asiata’s kick to effect. He was energetic as always and carried well. 7

Arthur Romano – Some big moments in defence and attack. He made some stern one-on-one tackles and carried hard. Been a solid signing. 8

Lewis Martin – Passed a HIA in the second half. Carried tough and made one second-half break. Doing it tough after a minor pre-season injury but continues to stand up tall. 7

Cade Cust – A start in the halves in Sezer’s absence. Did well. Gritty display on both sides of the ball. 7

Jake Arthur – Led the team superbly as the dominant half-back. Put James Bell through the line before supporting him to score his first Super League try. Kicked and defended well. His best performance for Hull to date. 9

Harvie Hill – His first stint was superb. Led Hull’s charge. Carried hard. Big hits in defence. There’s a lot to like about the new recruit so far. 8

Amir Bourouh – Arguably the hooker’s best game for Hull to date. He played the full 80 minutes. Had some good deception with his passes and set up Sao’s try with a neat offload. Tidy. Also defended tough. 9

Ligi Sao – The prop rolled back the years. He was stern in both attack and defence and got through plenty of work. 8

James Bell – Played in the back row again and set up the first try with a solid line. Also played a bit of centre during Martin’s HIA check. 7

Connor Bailey – The back rower was solid and dependable again. Tough and no-nonsense hard work. He’s had a fair start to his Hull career. 7

John Asiata – Hull FC’s Rolls Royce. He’s just sensational. Shapes up Hull’s attack from the first receiver and bites right into the line. Led the side superbly. Played 75 minutes. Huge. 9

Sam Lisone – Ran hard against his former club. Did well. 7
