Hull FC on are the road once again this Saturday afternoon, with the Black and Whites heading over the Pennines to take on Leigh Leopards in the Challenge Cup. Both sides come into the tie having lost their last three games in Super League, and both are in desperate need of a morale boosting victory to get their season up and running.
Meanwhile, Hull will be led by former Leyther captain John Asiata, with the loose-forward aiming to get the Airlie Birds ticking in just his third game back in the side. Against his former club, Asiata adds a bit of spice to a fixture that produced three humdingers last season, with Hull victorious in two and the other a draw following a frantic Golden Point period.
And it’s fair to assume the same again, with a close battle unfolding at Leigh Sports Village. It’s the Challenge Cup, after all, and there are no second chances. As always Hull Live be there every step of the way, with all the team news, build up, live action, and post-match reaction to come.
