A tough night for Hull FC.
Hull FC were defeated 34-6 by Wigan Warriors on Saturday night. Here are the ratings.
Will Pryce – Covered every blade of grass and defended the best he could up against a Wigan onslaught. Hurt his knee late on and will now go for scans to determine the issue. Fingers crossed it’s not as serious as it looked. 6
Harvey Barron – He never backed down but that was a tough night for the winger. Wigan peppered him. 5
Arthur Romano – One of Hull’s best. Loads of energy and carried well. One to watch this year. 7
Davy Litten – Tries his best against an opponent that was utterly relentless. 5
Lewis Martin – Similar to Barron. There were yardage errors on a tough night but again he never backed down. 5
Cade Cust – In the thick of the action. Penalised for a hit on Nsemba that brought a scuffle. Some errors but kept going. 5
Aidan Sezer – One or two moments in attacking shape but that’s all Hull got moments. They fed off scraps. 5
Liam Knight – Hull needed the Aussie prop to stand tall but his discipline got the better of him. Sin binned late on and could face further action from the MRP. 3
Amir Bourouh – A tough night for Hull’s pack and hooker, who had nothing to play off. 4
Harvie Hill – Scored Hull’s only try of the night against his old club. Tired his best in a beaten pack. 6
Joe Batchelor – Left the field with a calf and shoulder issue. Hull will monitor him going into next week. 5
Jed Cartwright – Back in the side and found it tough. A couple of errors with the ball. 5
Yusuf Aydin – Up against it from the off hit didn’t back down. Hull were just on the back foot all game. 5
Sam Lisone – The big prop was thrown on to turn the tide but Wigan never relinquished control. 4
Brad Fash – As above really. Really hard for him to change the game. 4
Connor Bailey – Played a middle role on his first Super League appearance in six years. Did okay. 5
Callum Kemp – Came on late in game at hooker. Tried to get Hull going. 5
