The Challenge Cup fourth round draw will take place next week.
Hull FC and Hull KR will learn their Challenge Cup fourth round opponents on Monday evening, should they get through Friday night’s third round ties against Salford RLFC and Lock Lane.
The Black and Whites head over the Pennines to take on the reformed Championship club, who defeated Hammersmith Hills Hoists in round two. Meanwhile, Rovers take on community club opposition at Craven Park after the Castleford-based side requested to reverse the fixture. Both ties kick off the competitive season for both Hull clubs.
Meanwhile, the fourth round draw will take place on Monday and will be conducted by 2006 Challenge Cup winner Jon Wilkin and Kevin Brown. It will take place around 6.40pm live on BBC Radio Manchester and will be hosted by Gaz Drinkwater and Emily Brobyn.
The RFL have confirmed that ball numbers will be confirmed following this weekend’s third round fixtures with fourth round ties to be played on the weekend of March 14-15.
In total, 13 Super League clubs join 18 Championship clubs and one community outfit to make a last 32. However, that will be trimmed to 16 clubs following the weekend’s action – with winning sides just three more games away from the final at Wembley.
