The Tigers face Rovers on home soil for the second time this season

Hull City begin their 2026 FA Cup campaign on Sunday afternoon with a clash against Championship rivals Blackburn Rovers at the MKM Stadium.

The Tigers host Rovers, looking to do something they’ve not managed in six years, and that’s win a game in the world’s oldest cup competition.

Both teams are enjoying differing campaigns so far, with City firmly entrenched in the race for promotion while Rovers are at the other end of the table, in a role reversal of last season.

Championship football takes a break for this weekend, though, and both will be hoping for some cup magic to be sprinkled on them in East Yorkshire.

When’s the game?

City vs Rovers takes place at the MKM Stadium on Sunday, January 11. The game kicks off at 2:30pm. It will be the club’s 150th home tie in this competion.

What else do I need to know?
