A flurry of games on the box are now coming up for the promotion-chasing Tigers

Hull City’s big MKM Stadium meeting with promotion rivals Millwall next month has been selected by Sky Sports to be shown live on television.

City hosts the Lions on Saturday, March 7, but it will now kick off at 12:30pm instead of 3pm as Sergej Jakirovic’s side look to take points off one of their direct rivals in the race for promotion.

As it stands, the Tigers are four points clear of the fifth-placed Lions, and were 3-1 winners at The Den in the reverse fixture before Christmas.

Now that game has been selected, it means City’s next seven games will all be televised, starting with the FA Cup meeting with Chelsea next Friday night, which will be shown on BBC One and TNT.

Home games against QPR and Derby County, followed by the trips to Portsmouth and Ipswich Town will be on the box either on the main Sky Sports channel, or via Sky Sports+. Millwall then follows before the Tigers go to Wrexham on March 10.

While not confirmed yet, the visit of leaders Coventry City on Easter Monday is almost certain to be picked, and so, too, the away trip to Sheffield United the following weekend.

This weekend, City take on Bristol City looking to extend their unbeaten run to six games against a Robins side that have lost ground in the play-off race, having been thumped 5-0 at home to in-form Derby County last weekend.

Sky, meanwhile, will continue to announce fixtures for the rest of the season beyond March 7 on a four-week rolling period.
