The popular party afternoon is moving outdoors with classic tracks, food, pyrotechnics, and more

A massive nostalgia-filled experience is coming to Hull as the popular Dayclubbers brand steps up from its club roots to host an outdoor festival in the heart of the city. Dayclubbers – The Festival will take over the historic Zebedee’s Yard on Saturday, May 23.

The event, which runs from 2pm until 10pm, promises a vibrant celebration of 80s, 90s, and 00s anthems. While the full line-up has not yet been revealed, organisers are teasing a “mega day” featuring legendary local DJs alongside “some great 80s/90s live acts” that will be announced soon.

Attendees can also look forward to high-end production, pyrotechnics, and a wealth of merchandise and giveaways throughout the day. The expansion comes as the brand’s regular residency at the nearby Waterfront continues to see unprecedented popularity.

The next indoor event on February 28 is already nearing a total sell-out, prompting organisers opening a fourth floor and introduce a new musical genre to keep up with demand.

This successful partnership will carry over into the May festival, with the Waterfront team providing the bars for the outdoor site. Tickets are moving quickly, with 75 per cent of the “Early Release” bargain tickets already sold.

Music fans looking to secure their spot at the best price are encouraged to act fast. For those seeking an upgraded experience, the festival also offers VIP tickets which include access to a private bar, “posh” toilets, and a dedicated seating area.

Current ticket prices start at £19.99 for early release, rising to £25.99 for second release, and £39.99 for VIP access, plus booking fees. They are available here.

With the brand’s reputation for selling out and the unique appeal of a “day party” that finishes by dark, this late May Bank Holiday weekend event is set to be a memorable one.
