Police are appealing for two witnesses who may be able to assist with enquiries
Humberside Police has issued a CCTV appeal. It comes as officers continue to investigate a fatal collision on Norwood, Beverley, at around 7.40am on Friday 19 December 2025.
An 81-year-old woman was taken to hospital for life-threatening injuries. However, police later said she had sadly passed away from her injuries.
In an updated appeal, a spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “We are specifically asking for the man shown in this CCTV to come forward. If you recognise him, know who he is, or are the man in the image, please contact us on the non‑emergency number 101, quoting log 73 of 19 December.
“Additional CCTV showing a white van towing a trailer has also been released. If you are the driver of this vehicle, or know who it may be, please contact us on 101, quoting the same log number.
“As part of the ongoing investigation, a 21‑year‑old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving and driving over the specified drug limit.”
