Three decades have passed since these images were captured by the Hull Daily Mail.
Our photographers used to roam the clubs, pubs and social events in the city for regular feature, Big Night Out. Many will no doubt remember the venues – and the appearance of one of what was then a well-known team of snappers popping up with their camera to record a happy night out in the city.
Taking a nostalgic look back at those times, here we focus on three Big Night Out occasions that were all caught on camera in January 1996. You might just spot yourself in one of the photos in our gallery below.
