List in full of Christmas Eve 2025 supermarket closing times in Hull

  • Whether you want to escape the chaos at home, add to your huge cheese and cracker selection or need buy some forgotten bay leaves, we’ve put together a list of the all-important opening times for the stores where you can stock up on supplies. There’s still time in case you forgot to buy a gift for someone too – just.
  • Tesco – Tesco Extra stores and Superstores will close at 7pm, while Express stores will open at 6am and all close by 10pm. Closing times for the smaller Express stores may vary, however. Tesco Extra store in Hull’s St Stephen’s is due to open from 6am to 7pm, Hall Road Extra opens from 6am to 7pm and Chamberlain Road is expected to open from 6am to 10pm.
  • Morrisons – The supermarket chain has three in the area, at Holderness Road; Springfield Way, Anlaby, and Wingfield Way, Beverley. They are all due to be open between 6am to 6pm, but the company says hours may vary, store to store.
  • Waitrose – Waitrose on Beverley Road, Willerby is scheduled to be open from 7am to 6pm on Christmas Eve. However, confirm directly with the store as individual store hours may vary.
  • Aldi – Aldi has branches in Hull at West Carr Lane; Sutton Road; Anlaby Road; Preston Road and Henry Boot Way, as well as a Beverley store in Swinemoor Lane. All are due to be open from 7am to 6pm on Christmas Eve. And make sure you stock up – Aldi is giving all staff two days off, so none of its stores will reopen until Saturday December 27 at 8am.
  • Lidl – The discount chain has Hull stores in Cottingham Road, Connaught Road, Great Gutter Lane, Hedon Road, Brighton Street and Atherton Way. They are expected to open from 7am to 6pm.
  • Asda – The supermarket has a number of branches in the area. The stores in Mount Pleasant, Beverley Road, Savoy Road, Hessle Road, Kingswood, East Riding: Beverley, Anlaby, Bilton are down to be open from 6am to 7pm.
  • Sainsbury’s – Sainsbury’s main stores in Sainsbury Way, Hessle, and Hull Road, Hedon, are open on Christmas Eve from 6am to 7pm. Opening times at Sainsbury’s Local stores are likely to vary, but most are open from 6.30am to 9pm.
  • M&S – The M&S Simply Food store at Kingswood, Hull, is due to open from 7am to 6pm. At Anlaby Retail Park Simply Food, the doors open from 6am to 6pm. Meanwhile at Butcher Row, Beverley, you can shop from 7am to 7pm.
