A 15-year-old boy has been charged with attempted murder after a man suffered “multiple stab wounds” in Hull. The incident is reported to have happened at a property in Great Thornton Street at the weekend.

Humberside Police say they were called to the address at around 8.35pm on Saturday (November 22) following a report that “a man, believed to be known to the teenager, had sustained multiple stab wounds”. A 42-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries “which are thought to be life changing at this time”, police say.

A 15-year-old boy has since been charged with attempted murder and robbery. The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been remanded to appear at Hull Crown Court on December 10.
