A large fire on a vessel in Albert Dock is not believed to have caused any injuries, the ambulance service confirmed.
Ongoing since 10:35am, the fire onboard the Altay has resulted in the closure of English Street, Wellington Street, Humber Dock, Kingston Retail Park, The Marina, and Jackson Street in Hull. Hull City Council said the Ice Arena and all of its museums had also been forced to close.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service stated it sent multiple ambulances to the incident this morning. All those who were onboard the vessel have since been checked over.
There are no reports of injuries, either due to the fire or the smoke. One ambulance and a team leader remain at the scene as a precaution.

The Altay has been docked in Hull since June 23, according to live ship tracking website Vessel Finder. It was built in 2006 and sails under the flag of the Marshall Islands.
People in the city centre have complained about acrid smoke which has been spreading eastwards. Humberside Police and Humberside Fire & Rescue Service advised people to keep doors and windows closed.
Humberside Police said: “Emergency services are currently in attendance at Albert Dock in Hull following reports of a ship on fire at approximately 10.35am today (Friday, 27 June).
“Road closures are in place on English Street, Wellington Street, Humber Dock, Kingston Retail Park, The Marina, and Jackson Street in Hull, with no access to local shops and businesses in the area.
“Residents are advised to keep windows closed due to smoke in the area, and motorists are asked to avoid the area.”
Associated British Ports, which runs Albert Dock, said: “We are currently aware of a fire on a vessel in the location of a tenanted area, and we are assisting the fire service with the response.”
