Fash is currently celebrating his testimonial year.
Hull FC forward Brad Fash will take part in a unique testimonial event as part of his ongoing celebrations. The 29-year-old launched his testimonial with a dinner in November and will also play his official testimonial match as Hull take on fellow Super League opposition Huddersfield Giants at Brantingham Park next month – January 25.
However, it’s his Sunday Times fashion approved haircut that will take centre stage at his next event following an X-Factor singing event at the University of Hull earlier this month. Experimenting during the Covid lockdowns, Fash underwent a mullet haircut and has largely kept it ever since. Now teaming up with a local barber shop, free mullet hair cuts will be given to kids ahead of their return to school in the new year.
The event will take place at ‘The Barber Shop’ in Hessle between 3pm and 5pm. The barbers is located on Prestongate with young fans advised to book now to secure their appointments. Fash will be in attendance alongside his testimonial merchandise, including his shirt.
After rising through Hull’s academy systems, the forward has made over 200 career appearances since debuting for the Black and Whites back in 2015. He has also featured on loan in the Championship, undergoing stints at Leigh, Toronto Wolfpack, and Doncaster, and has also played for England Knights.
Meanwhile, Fash’s testimonial game will be the first time John Cartwright’s side are in action in 2025, with one more pre-season game to come at Wigan Warriors on February 1. The competitive season then begins with Challenge Cup action the following week before the Super League kick off against Bradford Bulls on February 14.
