Swashbuckling adventure is promised for 2026

The traditional Hull New Theatre pantomime is in full swing for the Christmas season and drawing fun-seekers of all ages. The spellbinding Beauty and the Beast will be wowing audiences right up until New Year’s Eve.

However, those looking to get their stocking-fill of panto antics next Christmas can book their seats right now. The theatre has opened ticket sales on The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan.

The swashbuckling tale will sail into the city from December 10 to 31, 2026 “in a year when Hull is set to proudly celebrate its maritime links”, the theatre said. The thrilling production will feature amazing special effects, stunning sets, beautiful costumes and barrel-loads of laughter.

“This brand-new story takes your whole family on a swashbuckling adventure to Neverland like never before,” the theatre said. “With generous discounts for groups, concessions and special rates for schools available for selected performances; avoid walking the plank, be among the first to secure the best seats in the house for next year.”

The curtain will go up on the panto with a matinee show to introduce theatregoers to Peter Pan as he sails into the port of Hull. There will then be performances at various times, depending on the dates, throughout the festive period.
