Iron Lilies has returned to Hull after a four-month hiatus, promising a better experience for customers. The stunning botanical restaurant received a mixed reception when it first opened back in June last year.

While many customers praised the food and scenery, some said they found it too expensive. Tokyo Industries, which owns the restaurant and Princes Quay Shopping Centre, said it was coming back with a “fresher and more affordable product”.

In a post on the Princes Quay Facebook page, the company said it had launched a “fantastic concept in a luxurious setting” and when it returned it would “appeal to a wider audience”. The restaurant re-opened on November 28.
