She recently joined Reform UK

Reform UK Mayor of Hull and East Yorkshire, Luke Campbell, has appointed former Conservative MP, Lia Nici as his new Special Advisor. Ms Nici, who previously represented Great Grimsby and Cleethorpes recently joined Reform UK.

Ms Nici held her Parliamentary seat for just one election cycle. She took the seat off Labour’s Melanie Onn in 2019, and Ms Onn reclaimed the seat in 2024.

A Reform UK source recently confirmed to the Press Association that Ms Nici, and both Jonathan Gulis, who represented Stoke-on-Trent North, and former Bolton West Tory MP Chris Green, have all joined the party “on their own accord online.”
