Hull FC will play a Super League big gun in pre-season.

Hull FC will face Wigan Warriors in a pre-season friendly in February. The Black and Whites will head over the Pennines on Sunday 1 (a 3pm kick-off) for what will be their final friendly fixture before the competitive season begins.

Hull will also play Brad Fash’s testimonial match in January before the season begins with Challenge Cup action on the weekend of February 7. Super League then follows suit the following weekend.

The Wigan game will be Liam Marshall’s testimonial match, with the Warriors winger also celebrating his testimonial throughout 2026 after ten years of service to his hometown club. He has won every honour in the domestic game during his time at Wigan, scoring over 150 tries in the process.

The game will serve as John Cartwright’s last chance to get minutes into his squad before the cup game, which could be against any opponent from the Championship to qualified community clubs.

Meanwhile, ticket details have been confirmed. They are priced at £15.00 for adults, £12.00 for over 65s, and £8.00 for juniors. They will go on sale in due course.
