The Tigers have been regulars on Sky Sports this season

Two of Hull City’s Championship fixtures early in the New Year have been rearranged as part of Sky Sports‘ latest television selections, which were confirmed on Friday.

City‘s home meeting with QPR on Saturday, February 21st, was originally scheduled to kick off at 3pm, but will now start at the earlier time of 12:30pm.

A week later, City will face this weekend’s opponents, Portsmouth, at Fratton Park on Saturday, February 28, and that will also kick off at the earlier time of 12:30pm.

That clash on the South Coast is a repeat of last season’s final day lunchtime showdown, which saw the Tigers hold on for the point that ensured they avoided relegation to League One, and sent Luton Town down to the third-tier instead.

City are becoming no strangers to lunchtime kick-offs this term, with last Saturday’s 2-0 win at Norwich City played early, and this weekend’s meeting with Pompey also kicking off at 12:30pm to accommodate the broadcasters, with both games being shown on Sky Sports +.

After the international break, City will have another lunchtime encounter against in-form Stoke City. The Tigers travel to the Potteries on the final Saturday of the month looking to continue their fine record at the bet365 Stadium.
