Pedestrian injured after crash involving police vehicle in Hull

Police have issued a statement following the incident on Beverley Road on Friday evening

A pedestrian was injured in a crash involving a police vehicle on a major Hull road. A section of Beverley Road was closed on Friday evening following the incident shortly after 7pm.

Humberside Police have today issued a statement. A spokesperson said: “At approximately 7.05pm yesterday evening (Friday, 24 October), a police vehicle was involved in a collision with a pedestrian on Beverley Road in Hull near to the junction with May Street.

“Road closures were put in place to allow emergency services to work safely. The pedestrian was taken to hospital to be assessed and has since been discharged with minor injuries.”
