An exciting three day real ale and cider festival is set to come to the area – marking the first festival of its kind in six years. The Hull and East Yorkshire CAMRA Real Ale and Cider Festival will begin this month.
Tickets are now available, offering visitors of the event a ‘celebration of amazing real ales and ciders in good company.’ The festival will support two charities – Martin House Children’s Hospice and Dove House Hospice – along the way.
The Hull and East Yorkshire branch of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) is marking its 50th anniversary year this year. And now after a six year hiatus, the 42nd Real Ale and Cider Festival is set to welcome those looking for exceptional food and drink.

There will be a local caterer at the event, offering food such as pie and mash, loaded fries, as well as vegetarian options. There will also be tea, coffee and soft drinks available to purchase.
The festival will run from Thursday, October 30 until Saturday, November 1. It will be held at the Minerva Masonic Hall in Hull’s Old Town.
Organisers of the event said that the setting is a ‘hidden gem’ and ‘provides a magnificent setting for all to appreciate the skills and talents of our independent real ale brewers and cider producers.’
Tickets cost just £10 and includes two half pints for members to enjoy, with non-members getting a half pint plus an extra pint should they join during their visit.
Tickets can be purchased here. Organisers said that any unsold tickets will be available to buy on the door, but if you purchase in advance you don’t risk being disappointed on the day.
