Police have now launched an appeal for witnesses

A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car at a major west Hull junction. Police have today launched a witness appeal following the incident at the junction of Calvert Lane and Anlaby Road on Sunday (December 14).

The crash, which happened at around 9.25pm, involved a grey Range Rover. The pedestrian, a 45-year-old man, was taken to hospital for treatment for serious injuries.

A Humberside Police spokesperson added: “We would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or has CCTV or dashcam footage, from around the time the collision occurred, to contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 464 of 14 December 2025.”
